What is Beyond Melodies? 

Beyond Melodies is a singing group that aims to bring music and joy to people in care facilities and beyond. Our group consists of professional performing artists, with each member having years of performing experience, both on stage and for people in care facilities. 

 

How do you bring your performances to people?

We can connect virtually, through a video platform or in person in Toronto and the GTA. 

 

Where are you located?

We are located in Toronto, Ontario. 

 

Do you perform across Canada?

Yes! We have performed to clients from B.C. to Nova Scotia and all in between. 

 

Can I see a sample of your performance?

What kind of music do you sing?

We have a large variety of repertoire ranging over several decades. We sing rock n’ roll, folk, country, jazz and more!

 

Are song requests possible?

Yes, song requests are encouraged! Our team has a wide range of repertoire, and are always learning more. 

 

Can my support focus on specific communities or care homes?

Yes, you can choose a specific community, care home or individual you want to reach and we will organize it on your behalf.

 

Can regular performances (i.e. monthly) be scheduled for

individuals/care homes?

Yes, through your contribution you may schedule monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly or single performances.

 

How will my support for Beyond Melodies be recognized?

Your support may be recognized through our social media, website, and more. Please reach out to us for more details regarding support recognition and how we will highlight your contribution. 

 

Is Beyond Melodies a registered not-for-profit?

Beyond Melodies is currently working under parent company Talk Is Free Theatre, which is a registered not-for-profit.

 

Will I get a tax receipt for my contribution?

Yes. Through our project partnership with Talk Is Free Theatre, you will receive a tax receipt for your contribution. 

 

Where does the donation go?

Your donation will go directly to a performance at a care facility, day program, hospital, or individual.
